To be exact, it will be more than a big day: the Black Friday offers of our e-marketer partners will be available from November 18 to November 30 on our new site, HelloBlackFriday.hu. You’re asking: what is HelloBlackFriday? It’s neo’s answer to the Black Friday craze. Black Friday is now an important base point in the Christmas period, both for marketers and customers. We couldn’t ignore this, as we have been working on popularizing online shopping and safe payment methods for years.
The recipe is almost the same as in the case of DotcommerceDay (the big day of online shopping), which we organize every year since 2010: we prepared a great site where we publish the offers of our partners, then we drive visitors to the site with a media campaign. We again built this site keeping in mind that the offers should be well searchable thanks to tagging and categorizing.
There are some novelties, though:
- While DotcommerceDay is our “invention” in its totality, HelloBlackFriday is an answer to an existing marketing phenomenon, Black Friday – through our glasses.
- Our former sale days, namely DotcommerceDay and ChildrenFriday have been created to mobilize e-marketers and online shoppers, but for Black Friday, brick-and-mortar stores are offering promotions, too, and HelloBlackFriday is open for them to join as well.
- As some of the traders have promotions that are not limited to November 25, which is Black Friday, we too will make the offers available for more than a single day.
We are organizing HelloBlackFriday for the first time this year, so we consider it as a live test for the future, when we will be coming back with several novelties in the field of trade promotions. Stay tuned! ;)
